VIRES Virtual Test Drive (VTD) Training

We’re pleased to announce that MSC Software is organizing an intensive 3-Day public training session on VTD–VIRES Virtual Test Drive (VTD®) from 21st to 23rd August 2019 in Bangalore.

VIRES Simulationstechnologie GmbH, part of the MSC Software Group of Companies, est. 1996, is a leading supplier of simulation solutions for development, test and validation of systems in active safety, advanced driver assistance and highly automated driving applications. VIRES serves the automotive industry world-wide from OEM to component supplier level. MSC Software is part of Hexagon.

VIRES Virtual Test Drive (VTD®) is a complete tool-chain for driving simulation applications.

VTD provides a modular tool-set for road network creation, scenario definition, vehicle dynamics, traffic and sound simulation, simulation control, image generation, sensor perception etc. It uses established standard file formats.

VTD also provides open interfaces for 3rd party components and a plug-in concept with API for 3rd party modules; it allows for wide-ranging customization of its functionality. It is an established software package which is in service at numerous installations in the automotive and railroad industry.
